About
The Roaming Vet is committed to giving back to the communities that support us and the environments we cherish. As part of our dedication to philanthropy and social responsibility, we are proud to introduce the "1% for Veterans & 1% for Planet" initiative. Through this program, we pledge to donate 1% of the revenue from our for-profit group trips to a veteran-focused nonprofit (or similar) and an additional 1% to an outdoor conservation nonprofit.
Support Veteran Nonprofits:
Objective: Provide financial support to organizations dedicated to the well-being, rehabilitation, and empowerment of veterans and their families.
Impact: By donating 1% of our trip revenues, we aim to contribute to programs that offer mental health services, career training, housing assistance, and community integration for veterans.
Support Outdoor Conservation Nonprofits:
Objective: Contribute to the preservation and protection of natural landscapes and wildlife through financial support.
Impact: By allocating 1% of our trip revenues, we seek to aid efforts in environmental conservation, trail maintenance, wildlife protection, and the promotion of sustainable outdoor practices.
Our Goal:

By supporting both veterans and the environment, we aim to create a positive and lasting impact that extends beyond our adventures. Implementation
- 1% of the revenue generated from each for-profit group trip will be earmarked for donation to a selected veteran nonprofit.
