About our Founder
Brianna was aspiring to become a Commissioned Officer & Pilot; Pursuing her private pilot's license, completing her bachelor's degree, & working as an Executive Assistant for higher enlisted & officer leaders. However, after six years in the Air Force, Brianna was medically separated due to injuries sustained in training & on deployment that resulted in two hip surgeries & disqualification from commissioning. While feeling lost in her transition to the civilian world, Brianna began pursuing outdoor hobbies & sharing about her struggles to find passion & purpose on social media. What was supposed to be an Outdoor Adventure + Travel TikTok account, turned into a connection with veterans and service members through a shared love for the outdoors, military experiences, & transitioning to civilian life. She recognized a need in the community for connection, outdoor adventure, & resources. Because of this, she created
The Roaming Vet.
Chief Adventure Officer (CAO)
Chandler has been by Brianna's side since she was a pup in Alaska, ready for every adventure life throws their way. Whether it’s hiking through the mountains, posing for the camera, or cozying up in the van, Chandler's enthusiasm for life is contagious. Her playful spirit and loyal nature make her the perfect partner for all of Brianna's escapades.
Project Manager (Travel)
Samantha is an Air Force Reservist and is prior active duty. She is a traveler, adrenaline seeker, snowboarder, hiker, and cat collector with a passion for volunteerism. With extensive travel and administrative experience, Sam works for The Roaming Vet to co-plan official trips, moderate the Facebook group, and is a Roaming Vet Ambassador in charge of planning local events in the Colorado area. Her goals are to travel to all 50 states and 7 continents and wants to help inspire others in the military community to travel and explore the outdoors, too.
Feline Director of Mischief and Chief Napping Officer (CNO)
We're excited to welcome Ollie and Scout to The Roaming Vet team! Ollie, a six-year-old tabby, loves to snuggle up during calls or while Samantha works at the computer, earning the title of Chief Napping Officer (CNO). Scout, a two-year-old Siberian forest cat, graces us with his presence and has been crowned the Feline Director of Mischief.
